I'm home!

Hi everyone,

Just to let you all know...I came home late yesterday afternoon.  Surgery was a success.  So far, so good.  I'm just sore and tired.  My temp is up and down - one minute I'm hot, the next I'm cold - this must be from having surgery?!  I'm on colace, when should I be expecting a bm???

I had surgery on 9-10 had my BM  yesterday it will come with time sip sip sip and walk

Congrats! I had a BM in the hospital and let me tell you I never felt soo good the nurse was outside me door and was cheering for me. How imbarrasing but I was really happy too. After the first time I kept having a BM everytime I went to the bathroom. Aloha, Asia

How long were you in the hospital? I am having my surgery monday the 15th? Im a little nervous

Hi : you've got 2 days to go I am 3 days out and for me the last 2 days before the surgery were the toughest. Lots of doubts, am I doing the right thing, gee I'm going to miss going out for beer and hot chicken wings. Yep lots of things your going to miss but then again there are lots of things that you are going to enjoy again....think of all the things little and big that you haven't been able to do while being so big...like cutting your own toe nails, getting onto a plane and not having to ask for a belt extension and not having your tray tip over there are a million of good things that are going to happen for you. Basically that's what got me through my last couple of days.
good luck and just remember for the fun of it passing gas never felt so good as it does after surgery. hang in let me know how it goes.

hi there, i had the RNY in Toronto and I was in on Tuesday and home on Thursday. Best of luck with your surgery tomorrow. Rest, sip the water and walk!
